Autograph letter signed, dated : Weimar, Jan. 12 1832, to Herr Kistner at Probst, music publisher in Leipzig, 1832 Jan. 12.

Saying that he is arranging 18 of the best Haydn symphonies for piano, as well as with flute, violin and cello accompaniment, asking if Kistner would like the German copyright for this collection, adding that the Symphonies in B♭ and G (the "Militair") are ready to be sent and that the next will be the one in E♭, "Mit dem Paukenwirbl," etc.
